How to : Fold your napkin into a fan!

We have some fab brass napkin rings in Collection One, so to give you some styling ideas, follow this step by step guide to create a beautiful display. For Christmas, for your date night, or just for you and your table:)

STEP 1

Lay your napkin on a flat surface. You can iron your napkin first for that crisp clean look, or for a slightly more natural look leave as we have opposite!

STEP 2

Fold your napkin in half.

STEP 3

Fold the bottom edge of the napkin up by 1.5cm/2cm.
You then fold back the napkin by 1.5cm/2cm, changing back and forth in a concertina pattern.

STEP 4

Continue this back and forth folding motion until the entire napkin is complete. If you prefer more of less pleats, change the size of fold by making them smaller or larger.

STEP 5

Slide the napkin ring on one end, while holding the other end firm.

STEP 6

Position your napkin ring where you desire and pinch the ends of the pleats, so they are nice and structured.

STEP 7

Then rejoice in your folding abilities and place your ever so fancy napkin design on your plate! Why not slide some dried leaf fronds, or flowers into the napkin ring for that extra wow factor!
