VINTAGE HONITON VASE

£15.00
Sold Out

We love a good retro vase here at HDS and this Vintage Honiton one is no exception! This one is a unique shape rarely seen, the mottled caramel and cream glaze on the neck, looks striking against the deep Brown at the base. A unique piece for your retro home!

Heritage: Honiton Pottery dates back to 1881. Charles Collard set up his pottery in the High Street in 1918. Collard was already a well known figure in West Country pottery circles. He had previously owned the Crown Dorset Art Pottery in Poole, Dorset. His wares were decorated over a white slip, which was already glazed, and had a strong resemblance to Poole pottery. The company ceased trading in 1997 and the name was sold to Dartmouth Pottery.

Condition: Preloved with plenty of life left!

Measurements: H 16.5 CM // DIAMETER OPENING 10.5 CM GOING DOWN TO APPRX 6 CM
